ExecutionQuotient

Usually we prepare plans, schedules to manage personal/professional life.But our execution of the plan could be quite wayward at times.The reasons can be many ,to put concisely it is largely because of one's execution ability of plans.There could even be problem with estimation and preparation of the plans.Plan preparation is altogether different ability.But taken the fact that plan is in place,if we could measure execution/implementation progress of the plans then it would be helpful in ascertaining execution ability and improving on this skill further.

I would like to do it this way.I would prepare a plan which contains 'ToDeliverList' for a month.These are concrete deliverables each with a varying value called credit value(similar to credits of academic courses).Credit value depends on the priority of the 'ToDeliverItem'.Then define grades(similar to academic grades)for these deliverables for varying degree of completion/delivery of deliverables.At the end of the month calculate GPA ;sigma(grade*credit value)/sigma(credit). This number I call ExecutionQuotient .EQ will definitely a measure of execution ability of our plans.
